Named as 'One of Europe’s finest ’gazer bands of the last decade' [Daily Bandcamp], Rev Rev Rev re-metabolize shoegaze and psychedelic rock elements in a loud, woozy, fuzz-driven way.
Since the debut their signature wall-of-sound has inspired rave reviews, with single “Catching a buzz” spinned on BBC6 (Steve Lamacq, Radcliffe and Maconie) and sophomore album 'Des fleurs magiques bourdonnaient' praised by influential webzines like Drowned in Sound, Clash Music, Sounds better with reverb.
Their live set at Manchester's Cosmosis Festival, headlined by The Jesus and Mary Chain, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Raveonettes and WIRE, kick-started a 44-date tour touching UK, France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, during which the quartet shared the stage with The Telescopes, Ringo Deathstarr and Gonjasufi. In Italy, the band was ranked among the best live shows by 200 Italian promoters of the KeepOn Live indie network.
The new album, produced by James Aparicio (Spiritualized, Cult Of Dom Keller, Dead Vibrations), is out now on cult indie psych label Fuzz Club.
Their set at SXSW 2019 impressed, among others, Bob Boilen of All Songs Considered and earned them a feature on NPR's SXSW wrap-up as well as airplay on the network's radios.

Di base tra Modena e Bologna, i Rev Rev Rev alternano aperture oniriche e psichedeliche a momenti di forte impatto sonico. Già dall'esordio il loro muro di suono è stato molto apprezzato dagli amanti dello shoegaze: il singolo “Catching a buzz” è stato in rotation su BBC6 (Steve Lamacq, Radcliffe and Maconie), mentre il secondo lavoro “Des Fleurs Magiques Bourdonnaient” è stato indicato tra i migliori dischi del 2016 dalle principali webzine di genere e non solo (tra gli altri Drowned in Sound, Sounds better with reverb, Rockit, Decay FM).
Il live al Cosmosis Festival di Manchester, in mezzo ad una line-up stellare con band come The Jesus and Mary Chain, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Raveonettes e WIRE, ha dato il via ad un tour di 44 date tra Gran Bretagna, Francia, Belgio, Austria, Svizzera e Italia, nel corso del quale hanno diviso il palco due volte con le leggende The Telescopes, oltre che con Ringo Deathstarr e Gonjasufi. In Italia, la band è stata indicata tra i migliori live show da 200 direttori artistici in tutta Italia del circuito KeepOn.
Recentemente i Rev Rev Rev sono tornati in studio con James Aparicio (Spiritualized, Mogwai, Cult Of Dom Keller) alla produzione; il nuovo lavoro è destinato ad uscire a settembre 2019 sulla storica etichetta psichedelica inglese Fuzz Club. Il primo singolo 'Clutching the blade', pubblicato lo scorso marzo in previsione della partecipazione al SXSW di Austin, è stato accolto molto positivamente da webzine e radio.
Il loro set al festival statunitense è stato notato, tra gli altri, da Bob Boilen di All Songs Considered ed è fruttato l'inclusione tra i migliori momenti di SXSW nell'articolo sul sito del grande network radiofonico NPR e numerosi passaggi sulle varie radio affiliate.
